Words From The Founder
Hi girly! I am Jenn, the founder of Maryluu! Ever since I was young, I've been surrounded by small business owners in my family. My father has always inspired me by running his own landscaping business. My mother, raising my sister and I as a single mother and enduring a lot of different hardships, has always taught me that "El que persevera, alcanza", which translates to "He who perseveres, conquers."
After going through a layoff due to COVID in 2020, I knew I wanted to change my future. After several ideas, I realized that even when I was having a bad day, dressing up in my cutest outfit and showing up would always make things better. In 2021, I decided to follow my dreams, asked all the besties to help model my clothes, figured out how to create my own website and participate in all the vendor shows and pop ups I can find. Who is Maryluu you may ask? I've always been very close to my family and my mother has been one of my biggest supporters all my life, so I decided to name my boutique after her nickname, Maryluu.
I am very fortunate to be a first generation Mexican-American woman who is happy to venture out and do something that brings joy and passion into her life. It's more than just clothes. Clothes reflect and impact our mood, how we are feeling, and even what we want to achieve in life. Maryluu The Boutique represents boldness, confidence, and determination to show up and conquer the day!
